Betty Taylor, 83, of Valley Grande, passed away December 13, 2018 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. Services scheduled for December 22, 2018, noon at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Plantersville with Pastor John Grayson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Taylor; parents, Ulysses and Eulice Blevins; son, Otto Blevins; daughter, Cheryl Taylor; brothers, James Blevins, Walter Blevins, Grant Blevins; sisters, Ella Mae Turner and Alberta Jackson; daughter-in-law, Rita K. Blevins. She is survived by two sons, Sammie Blevins (Sherilynn) of Valley Grande and Curtis Taylor (Laronda) of Michigan; daughters, Rosie Lee Richardson (Clyde) of Orville and Earnestine Lee of Brooklyn, New York; brothersw, Conley Blevins (Claudia) of Birmingham, Arthur Blevins (Gloria) of Selma, and Andrew Blevins of Jones; sisters, Pearl Rose of Jones, Alice Mae Hayes of Birmingham, Dorothy Lewis of Burnsville, and Barbara Smith of Lincoln; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one son-in-law; two daughters-in-law; four sisters-in-law; host of nieces and nephews; aunt, Dessie Holmes; sisters-in-law, Linda Blevins and Willie Mae Blevins.
