Tax forms are now available on the Alabama Department of Labor’s (ADL) website for citizens who received unemployment compensation during 2018.

“This convenient access to important tax forms is available to all Alabamians who received unemployment compensation benefits,” said Labor Secretary Fitzgerald Washington in a press release. “Claimants should note that if they access their form online, no forms will be mailed to them, so they should print them for their records.”
The form details how much compensation claimants received during the year and the amount of taxes withheld from previously paid benefits.
This information is required annually.
The forms are password protected and accessible with a claimants Social Security number. If the form is viewed online before Jan. 31, a printed form will note be mailed to the recipient’s home.
If not, a paper copy will be mailed out Jan. 31.
