Mr. James Shelton, 78, of Detroit, MI passed away January 15, 2019 in Detroit, Michigan. Services are scheduled for February 2, 2019, 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 15315 Hwy 14 West, Selma  with the Rev. F.C. Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Honey Hill Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by one son, Willie Watters; two daughters, Colleen Shelton and Celesta Ayers; two brothers, T.P. Shelton and Curtis Shelton; six sisters, Lula Pickette, Dorothy Jones, Liz Cormier, Brenda Goins, Cathy Ray and Constanee Rankin; 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
