Prattville Christian Academy swept Southside in the Area 6, Class 3A tournament finals on Thursday.

PCA routed Southside 79-37 in the boys’ finals. The Lady Panthers fell 46-37.

Antonio Davis, Chris Thomas and Deontae Johnson scored 10 points each for the Panthers.

Kiara Harrell led the Lady Panthers with 15 points, Tamerya Snow added 10.

Tae Spears and Chris Bonner made the All-Tournament team. Kylan Brown and Harrell both made the All-tournament team for the Lady Panthers.

Despite the losses, both Southside teams qualify for the sub-region tournament next week. The Panthers will face Greene County on Tuesday. The Lady Panthers will play at Holt on Monday.

Both Meadowview Christian Schools teams had their season end in the AISA Class A tournament.

The Lady Trojans lost to Marengo Academy 48-29. MCS lost to Wilcox Academy 56-36.

Marengo upset Keith 68-65 in the Area 4, class 1A tournament semifinals.
