Prayers for tornado victims – Many ways to help disaster relief are available

Rescue crews using dogs and drones searched for victims amid rubble Monday after some of the deadliest tornadoes in U.S. history.
This is not the first time the state has experienced devastating tornadoes with past disasters including Tuscaloosa, Cullman and Phil Campbell, Rosalie and now Beauregard.
Just like the past disasters, the public has banded together to help those that have experienced this tragedy.
There are ways that we can help.
If anyone would like to donate non-perishable items or money for the Lee County tornado victims, they can go by Long-Lewis Ford in Selma or Prattville to donate, according to the Dallas County Neighborhood Watch site.
Speak with Mike Smith in Selma and Vickie Royal in Prattville.
All items will be picked up Friday and delivered on Saturday.
Let us show our support for the victims of this terrible disaster, and show our strength of community in this difficult time.
