The website, www.registerednursing.org recently named the Wallace Community College-Selma’s (WCCS) nursing program as the top 10 programs in the state.
The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program at WCCS is designed to prepare students to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and to become professional nurses prepared to meet the healthcare needs of individuals of all ages at any point on the health-illness continuum.
The numbers presented by registerednursing.org do not lie when the students at Wallace are much more prepared than the majority of nursing students who sit down to take the NCLEX.
This is hard work at its finest and it is right here in Selma.
Congratulations WCCS for producing quality nurses that are wanted throughout the country.
