Coming to an end

Next month, the Selma-Dallas County Leadership Class will come together one last time for a time to remember what all we have experienced in the past year.
It seems like just yesterday that we came together as a class at the 4-H Camp for a retreat kick-off event.
From there, we would travel to different parts of the county to learn the hidden gems that are in this county.
Boy has my eyes been opened.
I was able to learn so much with this class and more importantly make friends that I will have even after we part ways.
From economic growth, healthcare, business owners, historical landmarks and even a tour of The Selma Times-Journal, we have seen it all in the past year.
I am thankful that I have stuck with this class, and have taken the time to learn and grow in how we become leaders and learn how to lead in every aspect of our life.
The personal growth aspect has been amazing, and as someone who has never held a leadership position professionally until now, I needed all the help I could get.
As the class comes to an end there are still spots available for the upcoming leadership class.
It is a commitment that requires time and effort, but it is well rewarded at the end of it.
You form bonds that will last for a long time, and you will learn valuable information that will change the way you live and carry yourself in professional settings.
