This week, the Youth Leadership Selma-Dallas County class 22 graduated after a year of learning about Selma and Dallas County, learning valuable leadership skills and life skills that will stay with them for the rest of their life.
It is no secret that these leadership classes are time-consuming and the community projects the graduates completed took a lot of time to complete. The reward of completion is something that these graduates should be proud of.
The skills from money management to conflict resolution is something that these graduates will be able to take on for the rest of their life and it puts them ahead of some of their peers.
We applaud these students who have completed this year-long commitment and the future looks bright for them all.
