On June 9, the second United for The City camp for grades seventh-twelfth kicked off with another week of ministry in sports, children and elderly outreach and construction throughout our city.
The camp started with one question: What would Dallas County and Selma community look like if the entire body of Christ were united to serve our community and worship together without any denominational walls being in place?
United 2019’s mission to continue to lead the community by training students to provide opportunities to serve Selma through week-long mission projects.
Their projects will span all around the city as they learn to be leaders in their communities.
This is a fairly new movement but it is an effective one.
It is one that we hope will be around for many years to come.
Selma needs outreach in all parts of our community.
