Turner Chevrolet will be having a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday.
The event will start at 9 a.m. and ends at noon from its location on 1800 Highway 14 East. Admission is free.
New vehicles and classic vehicles will be on display. Food and drink will also be available.
William Brown, the event’s coordinator, said he expects over 100 vehicles will be on display. He said car clubs in the Black Belt and the Gulf Coast plan to attend. Brown said he will be bringing out his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to the event.
“The Capital City Corvette Club in Montgomery, the Church of Class Corvette Club out of Mobile, and the Road Runner Corvette Club out of Huntsville are all expected to come down,” Brown said.
Brown said he’s established a connection at various car shows in the state.
“I’ve been working at other car shows and started a relationship with them,” Brown said. “Customer Appreciation Day is not about black people or white people, it’s all about the cars.”
