South defeats North in All-Star Football game

The South beat the North 22-19 in the North-South All-Star Football Game on Thursday night at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
Vigor teammates Artell Howell and Kyle Walker connected on a 31-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, which was the winning score.
Dallas County had three players on the South roster: Selma High offensive lineman Maximus Jones and defensive end Jo-Varsva Sims and Southside defensive lineman William Wright.
Former Southside High head coach Daniel Flowers was an assistant coach and Panther assistant coach Cedric Brown was Administrative coach.
The South leads the series 31-27-2.
