A Selma resident had his bond revoked Friday in Dallas County Circuit Court.
Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway revoked the bond of Ronald Johnson on a pending first-degree assault charge, where the victim is Jamarius Shaw.
The Dallas County District Attorney’s office filed a motion to revoke Johnson’s bond after he picked up a shooting into an occupied building charge, which Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong set a $1 million bond last Tuesday.
“The revocation will keep him in jail for a long time,” Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said.
Johnson remains in the Dallas County jail. His hearing date is set for October 10.
