Auburn Basketball coach Bruce Pearl will be the keynote speaker at the Selma Quarterback Club on Monday at the Selma Convention Center.
Pearl’s anticipated appearance will be part of the QB Club’s “Family Night,” which starts at 6 p.m.
Pearl is coming off the state’s most successful college basketball season, guiding Auburn to its first-ever Final Four berth. The Tigers lost a heartbreaker to eventual national champion Virginia in the semifinals.
“It is extremely exciting to have Bruce Pearl,” Selma QB Club Captain Bob Frazer said. “His team at Auburn is coming off of a historic run last year in the NCAA tournament. “He will electrify a room regardless of your allegiance.”
Frazer said Family night was changed from Father-son-daughter night because so many people wanted to attend.
Frazer said tickets are available through Thursday and no tickets will be sold at the door on Monday. Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for high school students and below. Tickets are available at the Frazer Group.
Pearl also coached at the University of Tennessee.
