St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is getting ready for its annual Lobsterfest Fundraiser next Thursday, Nov. 14.
Tickets for Lobsterfest are $30 for take-out and $35 to dine at the church and can be purchased at Queen City Market, St. Paul’s office or at little Friends School.
Tickets can be placed on hold by calling St. Paul’s at 334-874-8421.
Take-out can be picked up at St Paul’s from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and diners can have dinner at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. or 8 p.m.
According to Lobsterfest Chairperson Nancy Travis, the event serves as a fundraiser for Little Friends School, St. Paul’s daycare program.
Travis says that the money raised from the event goes toward anything that Little Friends School might need.
According to Travis, Lobsterfest raised approximately $6,000 last year.
Travis says that the entire Selma community is supportive of the fundraiser.
“It’s not just St. Paul’s people,” she said. “People come together from all over the city to support us.”
