A Selma teenager was charged with capital murder over the weekend.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Justin Manzie has been arrested and charged with the murder of Danathian Crum.

Crum was died after he was shot and robbed on Oct. 25 at a house at the 700 block of Avenue A in Pine Glen Estates on Craig Air Field Base Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum said the victim was shot several times.  The 911 caller contacted Dispatch during the shooting. The victim was her mother’s boyfriend. Granthum didn’t reveal the identity of either.

Jackson said Manzie was arraigned by Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway. Manzie, 17, is being held in Dallas County Jail without bond.

Pettaway set Manzie’s preliminary hearing date for Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.
