Mrs. Flora “Jean” Hamlett Tyler, age 83, of Selma, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. She was born on January 9 , 1936, daughter of the late John Henry Hamlett and the late Sarah Fugate Hamlett.

She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Vernon R. “Bud” Tyler; children, Michael (Penny) Tyler, David Tyler, and Pamela (Henry) Moss; grandchildren, Stephanie (Sloan) Smith, Brandon (Shannon) Tyler, Austin Tyler, Sarah Moss, and Mathyn Moss; and great-grandchildren, Seth Smith, Symone Smith, Makayla Tyler, Caleb Tyler, and Sydney Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Traywick officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
