Larry Eugene DeRamus 63 of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on March 26, 2020. He was born on November 6, 1956 in Selma,  to Talmadge DeRamus and Virginia Middleton DeRamus. Larry was preceded in death by his father Talmadge DeRamus. He is survived by his mother Virginia Burrill (Howard); and brother Barry DeRamus (Liz); three nephews, two great nephews, and one great niece. Larry lived most of his adult life in Florida and was an innovator in the electronics field, pioneering electronic controls for motorized wheelchairs for the disabled and creating a keyboard on motorized wheelchairs for those who could not talk, using their feet and the keyboard he developed they could now communicate. Larry enjoyed learning new things and new electronics skills as evidenced by all his neighbors’ electronics he would accumulate and repair for his friends and neighbors.
