A Prattville man was arraigned on several robbery and drug charges.
Christopher C. Austin, 20, was arraigned by Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong for first-degree robbery, first-degree attempted burglary, second-degree possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Austin robbed the Marathon Store on Highway 80.
Armstrong set Austin’s bond at $500,000. He also set Austin’s preliminary hearing date on July 7 at 1:30 p.m. at the Dallas County Courthouse.
“Thankfully, nobody was hurt during this robbery,” Jackson said.
