Selma High Athletic Department host Seafood Boil

The Selma High School Athletic Department will have its second Seafood Boil fundraiser on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Seafood Express is partnering with Selma High Athletics on a Citywide Seafood to help generate funds to operatate the sports departments.
Selma High’s baseball, softball and track seasons were cut short on March 13 when Gov. Kay Ivey ordered the closing of schools statewide K-12 and the AHSAA cancelling spring sports.
Selma High Athletic Director Katasha Turner, who also coaches volleyball and track, said last month that the sport programs took a hard hit this year with the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We want to sell out that we can be impactful and help kids out for the upcoming year.,” Turner said.
The Crab Boil is $35 and it has snowcrab, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausages, eggs..
The Shrimp Boil is $30 and it has shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausages, eggs.The Crawfish Boil is $20 and it has crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausages, eggs.
