Two people were injured at the Yellow Bluff Dragway Race track last weekend in Wilcox County.
According to Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson, a man and woman were shot after someone pulled a gun at the race track in the town of Yellow Bluff. Jackson also said the two victims went to the hospital for treatment and were later released.
Jackson presides over the Fourth Judicial District, which consists of Dallas County, Perry County, Bibb County, Hale County and Wilcox County.
“The gunslingers were out that night, thankfully nobody was killed,” Jackson said.
The Wilcox County Sheriff Office is continuing to investigate the incident and searching for the person or people responsible for the shooting.
