Vaughan Regional Medical Center and Central AlabamaWorks are teaming together to host a Virtual hiring event this week.

The event starts Thursday and concludes Sunday. VRMC is hiring in Selma. Both organizations are looking forward to the event.

“We are excited about the event as well as the partnership with Central Alabama Works,” VRMC Human Resources Director Dionne Williams said.

The virtual hiring event can be accessed via Facebook or http://www.centralalabamajobs.com. Use code VRJOB when creating a profile. After completing a Career Connect profile, applicants will receive further instructions via email or text from Central AlabamaWorks.

“The Virtual Hiring Event will allow applicants to complete a profile anytime between September 17 and 20 without having to attend an onsite recruitment event or job fair that may interfere with current employment or other obligations,” Williams said. “Once the profile has been completed, it will be reviewed and a member of the Central Alabama Works Career Connect Team will follow up with the applicant regarding next steps.’’

Here are the jobs available at VRMC:

Registered Nurse: $5,000- $10,000 Signing bonus, based on experience, relocation & mileage assistance available.

LPN: Base pay is $16/hour with additional pay based on shifts, Scholarships available for RN School.

Patient Care Tech (PCT): Pay range is $9.26-$14.50/hour with additional pay based on shifts.

Medical Technologist/MLT: Pay range is $15-$29.70 based on qualifications, with additional pay based on shift.

Phlebotomist: Pay range is $10-$15.81 with additional pay based on shifts.

Maintenance Tech: Salary ranges from $14-$25.68/hour based on certifications and experience.

Dietician PRN: Pay range is $21-$32.72 based on experience, must be licensed with the Alabama Board of Dietetics and registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, must possess a bachelor’s degree or above in Human Environmental Sciences or Dietetic Sciences.
