A Dallas County man was arrested last week for multiple drug charges.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson was arrested on charges of first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree promoting prison contraband, attempting to elude and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond was set at $72,000 for Jackson,45. Jackson, the District Attorney, said that the suspect made bond.

The Dallas County Sheriff Office arrested Jackson, 45, on the corner of Minter Avenue and Lawrence Street on Dec. 8. Jackson said the suspect tried to escape, but the DCSO recaptured him.
