The Selma Police Department continues to search for a missing Selma man.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said the mother of Shawndarius Tremaya Tyus, 24, told the SPD that her son has been missing since Dec. 23.
“Tyus’ mom reported that she has not seen nor heard from him since last Wednesday,” Fulford said. “He was last seen on Old Montgomery Highway wearing camouflage.”
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said the Fourth Circuit Drug Task Force from the District Attorney’s office has joined the search for Tyus.
“Hopefully, the young man will be found unharmed,” Jackson said.
Anyone with information that could help investigators find Tyus should call Selma Police at (334) 874-2125 — or Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP.
