Southside sweeps Keith, Selma High girls upset No. 1 Central-Tuscaloosa

Christopher Thomas scored 17 points, Barrian Moore added 16 as Southside hammered Keith 67-52 on Friday in Orrville. Jaylen Kennedy added 12 for the Panthers (3-4).
Keith, ranked 10th in Class 1A, was led by DeCarlos Moore’s 17 points and 12 rebounds. Victor Millhouse Jr. added 12 and Terrell Lumpkin scored 10.
Southside girls 44, Keith 17: Cayilah Donaldson led the Lady Panthers with 12 points.
Selma girls 47, Central-Tuscaloosa 36: The Lady Saints knocked off the No. 1 in Class 5A.
Bibb County 56, Dallas County 55: The Choctaws held off the third-ranked Hornets (7-1).
Selma High 61, Central-Tuscaloosa 42: The Saints improved to 2-1 in Region 3, 5A.
Morgan Academy 54, Monroe Academy 22: The Senators (4-7, 2-2) were led by Chris Gardner’ 15 points, Davis Vardaman added 11. Cink Minter added eight points.
Monroe Academy girls 31, Morgan Academy 24: Bailey Brown scored 13 points for the Lady Senators (4-9, 0-4). Keenan Lee McHugh grabbed nine rebounds.
Meadowview Christian School girls 37, Jackson Academy 35: Patricia Peoples led the Lady Trojans with 21 points.
Bibb County girls 65, Dallas County 21: The Lady Hornets fell on the road at Centreville.
Meadowview Christian 49, Jackson Academy 34: Patricia Peoples led MCS with 24 points. Grace Redd added 10.
Meadowview Christian girls 44, Snook Christian 21: Patricia Peoples scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds for MCS (4-4, 3-0).
Meadowview Christian School 53, Snook Christian 44: The Trojans held on for a crucial Region victory.
