The Dallas County Sheriff Office and Selma Police Department are investigating two thefts that occurred last week.
Eric Read, 39, was charged with first-degree theft of property on Jan. 20, according to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson. Read was arraigned for theft over $50,000 from Tracker Supply on Highway 80.
Jackson also said that Jerica Jackson, 30, and Derek Kennedy, 40, were both charged with third-degree burglary after they burglarized The Dollar General Store in Burnsville last week located on Highway 14.
Jackson said Read has charges in Greenville and will have a preliminary hearing on March 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the Dallas County Courthouse.
All three are currently in the Dallas County Jail.
The SPD and DCSO are still investigating the incidents.
