Betty Smith Martin, wife of the late Leland D. Martin, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Betty was born on September 12, 1937 in Sprott, to the late Willie C. Smith and the late Fannie Rogers.

She was a former cosmetologist.She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Martin Taylor; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Fannie Smith; husband, Leland Martin; and several siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. from the Summerfield Baptist Church with Bro. James Bozeman officiating. Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
