The TNA Heat Girls High school basketball team finished second in a tournament at the Magnolia state.
The TNA girls were runner-ups at the GTA Stars Invitational Tournament in Columbus, Mississippi. They lost to the GTA Stars 37-29.
Jakeria Robinson led the way with 18 points a game in the tournament.
“It felt great to be able to start back with travel basketball this season,” TNA girls head coach Letti Hasberry said.
“The girls played hard the entire weekend and even though we fell short in the championship against the GTA Stars, I see much growth and potential. Covid shut us down last year and even though we are still in a pandemic, we plan on trying our best to stay safe as we compete this summer.”
