Harrell was fatally shot at Lannie’s BBQ at Medical Center Parkway on Feb. 4 in what authorities described as an attempted robbery. Johnson fled, but was later found by U.S. Marshals at a woman’s house in Montgomery on Feb. 23.

In March, Jackson said that Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins Pettaway Jr. found probable cause for Johnson on the capital murder charge.
