Mon’Shaay LaQueece Smith-Effinger, 33, resident of Prattville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Prattville Hospital.May 10, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. Rev. Raymond Brown. Burial to follow in New Live Oak Cemetery directed by Ashley’s J.H. Williams & Son’s Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Julia Axel; father, Bobby Smith; brother, Je”Terius Moore, Sr.  Survivors include: spouse, Eddie Y. Effinger; parents, Roderick and Jeanette Moore; sons, Keith Allen Verrette, Ethan Dallas Effinger; daughters, Essence Mariyah Effinger, Eyden Tyshon Effinger; brothers, Dion and Mark Brooks; sisters, Breanna Smith, Candace Moore, Ebonee Moore, Kameshia Brooks; three brother in-laws; two nieces, Jeteria Fails, Kelani Edwards and three nephews, Jeterius Jr., Jarrius Moore, Karler Fails.
