Meet The Selma Times-Journal All Dallas County softball team

The Selma Times-Journal All Dallas County softball team is filled with experience, speed and power.

Meadowview Christian School and Keith High, the only teams to advance past the Area tournament, each have three All County selections.

Grace Redd, Cameron Duncan and Avery Smith represent MCS, who made the Elite Eight round of the AISA State Softball Tournament.  Ieshia Carson, Tanika Smiley and Jakayla Moore represent Keith, the Area 7, Class 1A champions.

Dallas County High School, Morgan Academy and Selma High and Southside all have two All-County selections.

Leanna Johnson, last year’s Selma Times-Journal player of the year, and Bailey Brown represent Morgan Academy.

Natalie Epperson and Caitlyn Wilson lead the Lady Hornets.

Alexis Perry and Iajah Grimes made the team for Selma. Southside is represented by Rakayla McGuire and Jada Edwards.

Dallas County: Sa’Niya Byrd, Tremiah Gorden.

Keith: Tania Hays, DeAsia Collins and Aniya Richardson.

Meadowview Christian School: MK Krumnow, Kynleigh Belcher, Tiarra Brown.

Morgan Academy: Lydia Smitherman and Addison Bond.

Selma: Trinity Collier.

Southside: Markionna Lawrence and Jakayln Patterson.

Ellwood Christian Academy did not field a team because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
