Selma Police Department identify woman’s body at Bradley Homes

The Selma Police Department have identified the body of an elderly woman at Bradley Homes for the Elderly on Sunday.
Estella Smith was killed after someone shot into her apartment on the 2500 block of Montague Street, according to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford.
This is the 10th murder of the year in Selma, matching last year’s murder count.
Fulford said SPD officers found the body of the deceased body after receiving a call.
Fulford said the shooting incident remains under investigation by the SPD and there are no suspects at the moment. The ALEA State Bureau of investigation is assisting with the investigation.
