Dakaari Nelson and Sharod Martin each scored touchdowns as Selma High beat Marbury 12-7 on the road Friday.

The Saints (1-2, 1-0) recorded their first win of the season and won a Region contest.

Southside 56, Greensboro 22: The Panthers (2-0) remained unbeaten, winning their Region 3A opener.

Sam Taylor scored three touchdowns, Dre Williams scored twice. Chris Thomas  also scored.

Bibb County 48, Dallas County 20: The Hornets (0-3, 0-1) remained winless on the season, falling at Centreville.

Quarterback Michael Harris was a bright spot for the Hornets, throwing a touchdown pass and running for another.

Marquavious Pullom scored the other touchdown for Dallas County.

South Choctaw 53, Meadowview Christian School 0: The Trojans fall to 0-3 and continue to search for their first victory in AISA.
