Selma man murdered on Mimosa Street over the weekend

An African-American man was stabbed to death over the weekend in Selma.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford and Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson both identified the victim as Roderick Moore, 48.
Fulford said the Selma Police Department found Moore’s body on the 10 block of Mimosa Street around 9 p.m. Friday evening. Jackson added that the victim was stabbed in the neck.
Fulford said there are no suspects at this time as the murder remains under investigation by the SPD.
This is the 16th murder in the Queen City for 2021.
