Happiness Nutrition 27 celebrates its opening with ribbon Cutting ceremony

Happiness Nutrition 27 celebrated it grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday evening.

Co-owners Anthony Langdon Sr. and LaShun Langdon were surrounded by their children, Anthony Jr. and Alysia Langdon.  Her mother, Annie Towns, along with mother in law, Laura Langdon, uncle William Langdon and aunt, Minnie Hudson, were also at the event.

“I want to thank everyone for coming out to celebrate my grand opening,” LaShun Langdon said. “It’s been a dream of mine to be a wellness coach.

“We are so excited to share with the community our nutritional shakes and energy teas to help keep others healthier,  happier and see all your smiling faces”

Langdon said when she first wanted to open a commercial club, Anthony Sr. quickly supported her goal.

“Anthony is such a supportive husband and was on board immediately,” Langdon said.

Selma/Dallas County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sheryl Smedley said she’s pleased that the Langdons opened up a fitness business.

“We need this business for wellness in Selma and Dallas County,” Smedley said. “We’ve had three ribbon cutting ceremonies in the last three days.”

Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn also attended the event.
