Selma Police Department, Selma Fire Department investigating explosion at Rangedale Apartments

The Selma Police Department and Selma Fire Department are investigating an explosion involving nails that detonated at Rangedale Apartments on Wednesday morning.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford and Interim Selma Fire Chief Gabriel Sharpe both confirmed that a suspect threw a makeshift cocktail into Apartment 67Dat Rangedale around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and caused a fire. No one was hurt but the building sustained damage.
Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said the apartment is under the name of Trey White.
Fulford said the suspects and motive behind the fire is unknown.
Sharpe said several law enforcement agencies, including the SPD, DCSO, federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF, have since responded to the scene
