The Cornerstone Baptist Church donated cookies to the Dallas County Jail for Thanksgiving.
Cornerstone Church members Tracy Cothran and Kent Woodruff delivered the bags of cookies to the Dallas County Jail on Tuesday morning.
“We were glad to help out the Dallas County Sheriff Office and we appreciate them protecting us,” Cothran said.
Added Woodruff: “We are thankful to have the Dallas County Sheriff Office protecting us. We take care of those who take care of us.”
Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum said he’s grateful to have organizations donate to the DCSO employees and the inmates.
“It’s always nice to have people think of us,”: Granthum said.
