The Selma Police Department identified the second murder victim over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford said that Marcus Hatcher, 38 was shot and killed inside the Sports Bar Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m. on the 1800 block of Selma Avenue.

Four hours earlier on the 2500 block of Minter Avenue at Minter Terrace apartments, the SPD found the deceased body of Michael Blevins. Fulford and Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said that Blevins was found in front of one of the apartments.

Selma now has 22 murders on the year.
