A Selma man was convicted Friday on two counts of capital murder in the Dallas County Courthouse.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Courtney “Cocaine” Williams was found guilty by a Dallas County Grande Jury, He was convicted of killing Jamarius Fails four years ago at GWC Apartments, Williams, 32, was sentenced to life in prison without parole by Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Don McMillian.
The week-long trial wrapped up Friday. The jury deliberated for about two hours before returning with a guilty verdict.
“Cocaine has been taken off the streets in Selma,” Jackson said. “The gunslinger will now off the streets for the rest of his life”
