Snow’s Cleaning Service received a resolution from the City of Selma on city property to do volunteer service.
LeMarkus A. Snow, owner of Snow’s Cleaning Service, received the resolution at Tuesday’s City Council meeting. The city council signed off on it. January 3 will also be recognized as LeMarkus Snow Day.
“After almost two years of cleaning the city Snows Cleaning service haven’t got no complaints, no misconduct, and haven’t damaged or harmed to private or city property so that should tell all my intentions are great,” Snow said.
It marks the second straight year that Snow’s Cleaning Service was honored by the city council.
“I’m proud of you Lemarkus A. Snow, thank you so much for your community service on a daily basis,” Selma City Councilman Clay Carmichael said.
Snow said he enjoys serving the Queen City.
“Sometimes no matter how cold it is, no matter if you don’t want to get out the bed, and sometimes you have to work in rain, snow ,sleet , and hail, being a business owner with pride goes a long way,” Snow said. “I beat the chickens up every morning and I’ve realized Snows Cleaning Service is mine. If I don’t run it at full capacity then who will. I’ve built a name brand and it’s going to grow.”
