2022 Distinguished Young Woman of Dallas County winner Maryanna Turner will compete in the statewide program next weekend.

The DYW Alabama Program will be held at the Frazer United Methodist Church in Montgomery on January 21-22.

Turner is a senior at Morgan Academy. Her numerous activities at Morgan include the editor of the yearbook, an executive officer in the SGA, a member of National Honor Society and Senior Beta Club, and head water girl and field painter during the football season.

Turner is also an active member of Church Street United Methodist Church serving as an acolyte, nursery volunteer, and youth group member.  Maryanna’s talent for the program will be a contemporary ballet en pointe.

Turner is the daughter of Milam and Daneen Turner.
