The Keith High Bears beat RC Hatch 68-60 in overtime to win the Area 5, Class 1A Tournament title on Thursday in Orrville.

Leading the way for Keith was Terrell Lumpkin with 21 points, seven steals and six assists. Trey Tisdale added 20 points, 10 rebounds and hit key free throws in overtime.

Morgan Academy advanced to the AISA Final Four with a last-minute 55-54 win over Valiant Cross Academy. Rhyne Williams led the Senators with 11 points.

The Senators face Bessemer Academy in the semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Montgomery Multiplex.

Southside faced Hale County for the Area 8, 3A title on Friday night.

The Lady Panthers faced Greensboro for the Area 8, 3A girls crown on Friday night.

Central-Tuscaloosa girls downed Selma 41-27 to win the Area 7, 5A title.

Linden beat Keith girls 59-42 in the Area 5, 1A semifinals.

The Dallas County girls , Bibb County in the Area 6, 4 tournament.

ECA girls lost to Maplesville 51-26 in the Area 7, 1A quarterfinals.
