Both Southside teams are headed to the Regional finals.

The Panthers beat Hillcrest 68-57 in the 3A Southwest Semifinals.

Southside (22-9) will face Cottage Hill in the Southwest Regional finals on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Montgomery.

The Lady Panthers held off Bayside Academy 51-44 in a Class 3A Southwest Regional semifinals.

Southside girls will face T.R. Miller in the Regional finals on Monday at noon in Montgomery.

Selma High, ranked sixth in the finals Girls Class 5A poll, will face St. Paul on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Montgomery Multiplex.

If the Lady Saints win, they will advance to the Regional finals on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Dallas County faces St. James in a 4A Regional semifinal at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. A win and the Hornets advance to the Regional finals on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Keith High faces McIntosh in a 1A Regional semifinal on Monday at 4 p.m. A win puts the Bears in the Regional finals on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
