Scholarship opportunities are there for High school seniors at private and public schools in Dallas County
Seniors are over a month away from graduating and preparing for their college destination. The time also means opportunities for scholarships given before or after graduating high school.
Three students, Selma High School’s Devon Benjamin, Morgan Academy’s Wilks Chittom and Dallas County High School’s Darius Nix, each received Renee Kelley Wilkerson Scholarships by the Selma Rotary Club.
Morgan Academy’s Maggie Holladay recently was awarded the Cecil Lane Family Memorial Scholarship by the Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation.
While we expect the number of scholarship recipients to increase over the next several months, we’re pleased that organizations are providing opportunities for graduating seniors.
