A Selma man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Dallas County.

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Warrick B. Sherrer, 52, was fatally injured when the 2019 Honda HR-V he drove left the roadway, striking a fence and multiple trees.

Sherrer was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Dallas County 84 11 miles north of Selma around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

No further details about the accident are available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
