Lannie’s Bar-B-Q to hold candlelight vigil for Earl B. Travis

A candlelight vigil will be held in honor of Lannies Bar-B-Q restaurant number 2 owner Earl “Butch” Travis on Thursday night.
The vigil will be held Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Lannie’s parking lot, located on 205 Medical Center Parkway.
Travis, 66, died on July 29. He opened Lannie’s Bar-B-Q in 1992.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at, 1 p.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist officiated by Rev. Joshua Davis. Burial to follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, directed by Ashley’s JH Williams & Sons Funeral Home.
Ayanna Travis, Travis’ granddaughter, said red and black balloons are welcome.
