Keith, Selma, Meadowview Christian School all lose season openers

Keith High, Selma High and Meadowview Christian School all dropped their season openers on Friday night.
Despite a big night from Javon Richardson, Keith fell to Bullock County 33-16.
Richardon scored both Keith touchdowns and also had three interceptions.
Sederrion Reuben scored both two-point conversions for the Bears (0-1).
Keith hosts Dallas County High next Friday at J.V. Caldwell Stadium in Orrville.
Beauregard 21, Selma High 16: The Hornets scored 14 third quarter points to upset the Saints at home.
Desmond Carter and Rod Ward each scored touchdowns for the Saints.
Selma built a 16-7 first-half lead on to see the Hornets storm back for a 21-16 lead in the fourth quarter.
The Saints (0-1) travel to next Friday’s contest at crosstown rival Southside at Panthers Stadium.
Evangel Christian Academy 55, Meadowview Christian School 0: The Trojans lost their opener in Don White’s head coaching debut at MCS.
The Lightning improved to 2-0 in 8-man football.
MCS plays host to Southern Academy in 11-man football next Friday at Wadsen Stadium.
Southside, Morgan Academy and Dallas County open the season next Friday night.
