Two suspects wanted for receiving stolen property in Dallas County arrested

Two Dallas County suspects wanted for receiving stolen property were arrested last week in Montgomery.
According to Central Alabama Crimestoppers, brothers Bryan Keith McCormick and William Floyd McCormick were arrested and were taken into police custody on August 18. Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson confirmed that the two suspects are brothers.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office had active warrants on the McCormick for second-degree receiving stolen property since July 21.
Law enforcement notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers that both suspects were found and taken to the at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.
William Floyd McCormick is being held at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility on a $10,000 bond for first-degree Theft of Property and second-degree theft of Property.
Bryan Keith McCormick is held on a $25,000.00 bond for two second-degree Receiving Stolen Property, first-degree two Theft of Property first Degree charges and a charge for second-degree Theft of Property charge.
Jackson said that the DCSO will check with Montgomery when the two suspects can be transported back to Dallas County. Jackson also said that a hearing will take place when the suspects return to the area.
“We are checking to see if we need to file any motions to revoke their bonds or probation,” Jackson said. “You can run, but you can’t hide.”
