Most people often use the Labor Day holiday as a chance to relax and bid farewell to summer.
But Gospel Tabernacle Pastor John E. Grayson is not one of those people.
While some of us were barbecuing and resting at home, Pastor Grayson and the Gospel Tabernacle Church Youth & Young Adult Ministry delivered bottled water and other supplies to flood victims in Jackson, Mississippi.
We’re equally impressed with the youth that attended and helped with the “Load Up,” trip, following the example set by Pastor Grayson. Their parents who went on the trip deserve credit as well.
We also applaud the countless organizations that served as community partners for the event, including: Selma City Schools, The Selma Housing Authority, Son Light Center, Selma Area Food Bank, Winn-Dixie Selma, Walmart Selma, Wooten Law Firm, Snow’s Cleaning Service.
We always enjoy writing about the good deeds performed by Pastor Grayson regardless of location.
