Voice of Auburn Tigers to speak at Selma QB Club

The Voice of the Auburn Tigers will be the first speaker of the Selma Quarterback Club this year.
Andy Burcham will be the keynote speaker at the Selma QB on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the George P. Evans Building.
Burcham serves as the play by play voice for Auburn Football, Men’s Basketball and Baseball. He has been part of the Auburn Baseball broadcast team since 1995.
The Nashville, Illinois native Burcham came to Auburn after working for 12 years at Auburn Network, Inc. He was Station Manager for WANI Radio and served as host for the ABBY Award Winning Auburn-Opelika This Morning.
Selma QB Club Captain Bob Frazer said meetings will be on Tuesday evenings. He said membership fee is $175 and guest price at $40.

-Oct. 4: Cole Price—High Tide Traditions (NIL), General Manager www.hightidetraditions.com.
-Oct 11: Chris Stewart—Crimson Tide Sports Network 20 years of basketball, 23 years Baseball and Football this year .
-Oct. 25: Herb Winches—Retired Sports Broadcaster.
-Nov. 8: Ben Obamanu—Former WR for Selma High, Auburn and the Seattle Seahawks
Frazer said the QB Club is working on its sixth speaker and said things are going great.
“We had a great turnout by our sponsors and that goes to help with our five scholarships,” Frazer said. “Our big ticket sales are underway. The drawing will be at our last meeting of the year, $10,000 to the winner and $10,000 to our scholarship recipients along with 100 percent of the sponsor money. Our board is faithful and serves the community well. We are very much a team effort.”
