The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect this week for a robbery committed two months ago.
Lee Anthony Walker Jr. was taken into custody by the DCSO on Monday after Dallas County Investigators received a tip from CrimeStoppers of his whereabouts. Prattville Police Department dispatched patrol units to a residence located in the 100 block of Pressley Street where Walker was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant of the residence was conducted by the DDCSO. Investigators were able to recover property related to the robbery. Walker was transported to the Dallas County Jail.
Another suspect involved in the case, Octavious Blevins, has already been arrested. Walker and Blevins are both charged with first-degree robbery.
Walker and Blevins are connected to a June 27 case in Marion Junction, where Walker was taken to a residence. After arriving, Walker went into the residence and came out with Blevins.
Blevins placed a gun to the victim’s head, while Walker took unlawful possession of 2 AR-15 rifles, 2 pistols, and one shotgun, from the victim’s car.
Quindon Rashad Pernell has all charges dropped against him. Dallas County Investigators did interviews and they discovered Pernell had no involvement in the robbery of the victim.
The victim then drove away in his car but took a picture with his phone as he was leaving.
According to DCSO and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, the case remains under investigation.
“It is a welcome relief to the Dallas County Community that the final suspect of the Marion Junction robbery has been caught and locked up,” Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said.
